COVID-19

Dear customer,

I write this letter to you with a mind set of a precaution and not one of panic because losing your head in a crisis is a good way to become the crisis. In Portugal, like elsewhere in Europe, the government is taking some measures to contain the Covid-19 virus from spreading that are beyond our control and could have an impact on our production. In this stage it is unclear how these measures will impact us. As our people are our most important asset, we are doing everything possible to protect them from getting infected. But we also care about YOU. Hence I have asked our sales people to limit visits to the strict minimum and contact you by electronic means or phone. If they do need to support you physically, please accept they are wearing protection. It is difficult to say if the measures will affect our delivery performance and it will also depend and what is still to come. We have contingency plans in place for most critical functions so they can continue operating without interruption. Potentially, there may occur production/ delivery interruptions, which we would of course try to minimize. Therefor I urge you to look at your stocks and do what you deem necessary. But please do not overdo it.  You might need to consider a possible slowdown in the economy as well. I hope with you this crisis will be contained soon and that we can continue business as usual. In the meantime, keep well and healthy and live by the recommendations given!
